Annual Conference

The BANCC Annual Conference is an opportunity to celebrate cardiovascular nursing through a face to face study day with fantastic speakers and interactive sessions.

2025 BANCC Annual Conference

The 2025 Annual Conference will be hosted at John Moores University in Liverpool on Friday 25th April 2024.

The 2025 theme is Integrated care in Cardiovascular nursing.

In 2025, the BANCC annual conference is back with a new spring date and our most exciting and program yet! It will be packed with inspirational speakers and practice changing learning including:

  • Keynote speech on Integrated care from Caroline Trevithick, Chief Executive of the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board and registered nurse.

  • Mr Karl Perry, an inspirational Cardiac arrest survivor will deliver the Patient experience session on CPR and out of hospital cardiac arrest care.

  • The 'Year in Cardiology session' is back by popular demand and promises to be a clinically focussed rapid fire summary of the most important research for cardiovascular nurses.

  • Our largest number of parallel workshops ever, covering everything from live cardiac dissection and anatomy with Attilio Lotto, Professor in Congenital Cardiac Surgery, to cardiovascular nursing careers . Places are strictly limited, so be sure to register for conference early to avoid disappointment.

  • Highly relevant industry sponsored symposia specifically developed with, and for cardiovascular nurses.

Registration will open for the BANCC Annual Conference in the New Year so get ready to sign up for your free ticket then!

“In cardiac nursing, we don’t just care for hearts—we mend them, strengthen them, and bring them back to life. Integrated care is where compassion meets collaboration for better patient outcomes, join us at conference to hear your views”, Nicola Bowers, BANCC President
