Areas of Special Interest: For research nurses, midwifes and AHP’s to be an integral member of every healthcare division.  Introducing, supporting and completing clinical trials and individual researchers, to increase national research activity and promote evidence based practice.  Through collaborative working and dissemination of information, reduce cardiovascular disease locally, nationally and globally.

Current Role: Advanced NIHR Research Fellow and Nurse Lecturer, University of Leicester

Areas of special interest: The collection, linkage and analysis of routine data to investigate heart failure and cormorbidity epidemiology, patient-centred outcomes and health informatics and education.  Provision of mentorship and support for nurse academic careers.
